The 863 – 865MHz band is license free across most of Europe, ideal for any small scale application such as bands, or public speakers who just need one channel without paying a license fee. For larger organisations or applications where a license may be required for insurance or other monitoring purposes, licenses for the 823 – 832 MHz band are available from local authorities in many countries.
