The crossover frequency allows you to shape the sound of your bass to match the shape and sound of your room. It also has a phase adjustment control so you can troubleshoot any phasing issues when matching the sub to your speakers. The paper cone driver is protected by a metal grille which also helps to minimise diffraction for weighty bass response.
